RISK MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR REFEREES
The Kansas State Youth Association’s policies dictate “All Referees, 18 years of age and older, that officiate in Youth Sanctioned games are required to have a back round check completed prior to being scheduled to work games”. Referees that do not meet that criteria may still get an email to create an account, requesting contact information to be verified, there is no charge for this procedure. This is due to creating a scheduling database for those local leagues that may choose to use the GotSoccer Product for their scheduling needs.

The cost of the check is the responsibility of the individual(s) involved, and you only have to complete the task one time. For example, if you are a coach, team manager, or an administrator in the Youth Organization, as well as a referee, one check covers all the categories.
The Kansas Referee Development is not bonded or licensed to handle Risk Management information, so we are only able to point referees in the correct direction to have the check performed.
